About Northampton TaeKwon-Do Schools.

Northampton TaeKwon-Do Schools were set up in January 2005 by Master Darrin Bonfield 7th degree international instructor, who teaches true and authentic ITF TaeKwon-Do. All instructors are first aid trained, hold full indemnity insurance and have a current DBS certificate.

The schools have grown over the years and we now have classes in Brixworth & Roade, teaching both children and adults.

With a TaeKwon-Do journey starting back in 1988, the Clubs at Northampton have grown from strength to strength with myself changing from an engineering background to a professional instructor back in 2007 to the present day.

The schools are proud members of the ITF.

I have trained to become a class A certified umpire, I have been fortunate enough to officiate both at European and World Championship levels in several countries, this has given me a huge amount of experience within the competition circuit.

Training takes place 4 nights a week at various locations. Details of venues and class times can be found on the details page of the website. Please have a look at these to start what many people class as a life changing journey.
